Dang!!

Well, Ben was supposed to go in the hospital this Thursday to finally get his Trach out. Instead he to the hospital yesterday (Saturday) afternoon with pneumonia -- DANG! I was out camping with my Scout Troop and knew that Ben was sick. but had no idea he might be hospitalized. Beth woke up Saturday morning and took one look at him and knew he would be in the hospital later that day. When I got home, no one was around. I eventually checked my phone messages only to find out that he was in the ER and had been diagnosed with pneumonia. He is doing okay, but his lungs have a lot of gunk in them. He will probably be there for at least a few day. Beth and I will start switching off at the hospital, I'll do the nights and she will do the days. All last week, we tried to "quarantine" him so he wouldn't get sick. This is the one thing we didn't want to happen. Right now, we don't know when he will be able to get his trach out. It could even be a few months.
